Reviews for Pembroke Lodge
Review highlights
Based on 204 reviewsPembroke Lodge is widely praised for its picturesque setting within Richmond Park, offering visitors scenic views and beautiful trails that enhance the overall experience. The cafe is noted for its quality selection of baked goods, including scones and cakes, which pair well with their tea offerings. Friendly and attentive staff contribute positively to customer satisfaction. However, the venue often experiences crowding, leading to challenges in seating and ordering. While the food is generally considered good, some customers find the coffee options less impressive. Pricing is viewed as reasonable given the location and ambiance, though occasional feedback highlights concerns over waste management related to cream portions served with scones.
Great place to go for the refreshment with tea & coffee, and bakery Georgious landscape & nature view from the lodge, and beautiful trails in Richmond Park. I got scones & Espresso, and it was so good.
Great place for food and snacks or afternoon tea inside Richmond Park. Good range of cold drinks available as well. Prices are fairly reasonable. But note to whoever runs the restaurant area, bring back tubs of Rodda's cream for the scones. Secondly, your staff give far too much of your open cream for 1 or 2 scones, and then it's thrown away. This is a big waste, but the tubs of Rodda's were just the right amount.
Sunday Roast never disappoint, followed by scones or cakes plus tea. Thank you to the wonderful always smiling staff.
It's always crowded, so it's not easy to find a seat and you have to wait to order, but it's such a pretty place. It's so delicious to eat tea and scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam. Coffee is not recommended I tried the mocha and flat white and was disappointed. The food isn't cheap, but it's not bad either. I think it's worth appreciating the scenery. Every time I go, I feel a new feeling every time in a slightly different scenery. Anytime is so so good.
Amazing cakes, friendly service, and fantastic views.
Fabulous afternoon tea with a giant scone and really thick smooth cream. Tea was great. Views were amazing being high up in Richmond Park.
I only went once, yet it’s my favourite memory of my trip to London. I went with my mom and my father’s aunt, the park was beautiful and the food was great. The atmosphere is simply perfect, I can’t wait to go again.
Always get a substantial meal of good quality. It can get very busy and difficulty in finding a table, so do it first, then get your food. Pleasant walks in the grounds. We only go on a Monday or Tuesday.
